He monitored the situation and dedicated resources to assist the affected people. Additionally, Modi spent Diwali with Kashmir flood survivors, establishing a rare connection between an Indian politician and the Kashmiri population.


Digital India Revolution: Modi launched the transformative Digital India program, which propelled India's development by leveraging the increasing internet usage due to affordable data plans. The initiative introduced numerous citizen-centric websites and the revolutionary United Payment Interface (UPI) for seamless digital transactions.


Atmanirbhar Bharat: Viewing the COVID-19 crisis as an opportunity, Modi championed the concept of self-reliance (Atmanirbhar Bharat) and urged citizens to support local products (Vocal for Local). Jan Dhan Yojana: On India's Independence Day in 2014, Modi announced the Jan Dhan Yojana, an initiative aimed at providing credit facilities, pensions, and insurance to every household. By December 2021, over 44.23 crore Jan Dhan accounts had been opened, making significant progress in financial inclusion.


Economic Reforms and Policy Implementation: Modi's government prioritized reviving the Indian economy through extensive reforms in manufacturing, exports, and infrastructure development. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign): To combat the pervasive problem of filth in India, Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on October 2, 2014. This nationwide cleanliness campaign elevated the importance of hygiene and civic sense, positioning Modi on par with Mahatma Gandhi in public perception. The campaign received support from notable personalities across various domains.


Mann ki Baat: Recognizing the significance of public interaction, Modi initiated the Mann ki Baat program, a radio talk show where he discusses current issues and shares his insights. Initially aired on All India Radio, the program reaches millions through radio and television channels. With 88 episodes aired to date, it serves as a platform for direct communication between the Prime Minister and the general public.


Ayushman Bharat: Launched on September 23, 2018, Ayushman Bharat is a health insurance scheme that provides coverage of up to INR 5 lakhs annually to over 10 crore economically disadvantaged families. The initiative aims to establish 1.5 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers across India by December 2022, with 44.24 crore people already benefiting from the scheme as of April 2021.
